Printing classification
The printing paste is directly printed on the white ground fabric or light-colored fabric. Features: The printing process is simple, suitable for all kinds of dyes, and can be applied to all kinds of fabrics.
From the printing process
(1) Direct printing
The printing paste is directly printed on the white ground fabric or light-colored fabric.
Features: The printing process is simple, suitable for all kinds of dyes, and can be applied to all kinds of fabrics.
(2) Anti-dye printing locally prevents dyes from being dyed or developed, so that various patterns are printed on the dyed fabric.
Anti-white printing: The printing paste contains chemical substances that can destroy or prevent the dyeing of the ground color dye. The ground color cannot be dyed in the printing area, and the white pattern in the printing area is called anti-white printing.
Color anti-printing: The printing paste contains dyes that do not interact with the anti-dyeing agent, and the anti-dyeing dyes the fiber at the same time.
Features: The fineness is not as good as discharge printing, but there are many kinds of dyes
2. From the printing equipment
(1) Screen printing
More common applications
The screen is the main printing tool. The patterned areas are hollowed out, and the non-patterned areas are coated, and the color paste is scraped through the meshes and transferred to the fabric.
According to the screen shape
(2) Flat screen printing
The pattern size and the number of colors are not limited, and the fabric is basically free from tension during printing.
(3) Rotary screen printing
The size of the pattern is limited by the circumference of the circular net, and the pattern is limited, and the production efficiency is high.
(4) Roll (gǔn) cylinder printing
Printing method commonly used in the 20th century
The printing roller has a complicated process and is suitable for printing larger batches of floral fabrics. When printing small batches, the cost is higher, and it is gradually replaced by screen printing.
Depressed pattern on the flower tube
High pattern definition
(5) Transfer printing
The dye is printed on the paper by printing method, and then it is transferred to the textile.
The processing process is short, the patterns are artistic, and the patterns can be printed with rich layers and realistic shapes.
Account for 5% of output of printed products
(6) Inkjet printing
Originated from inkjet printers
Simple printing process
The printing quality is high-end, and the color has no limit on the number of sets
Strong production flexibility
